Reels safe zone as practitioners report it, used for every vertical placement

On Reels the account name and sound sit across the top 14% of the frame, and the caption, buttons and call to action across the bottom 35%, as practitioners report it. Genien uses the Reels zone, the strictest, for every vertical placement.

Words, faces and the product stay in the middle. The 4:5 feed cut has no such overlay.

Captions and the end card

Captions sit above the bottom zone, and every video ends on an end card with the ad's closing line, set in a real font so it's always spelled right. AI models still misspell text inside pictures, so Genien doesn't ask them for it.

When an AI ad needs a label

In some places, yes. New York has required a disclosure since June 2026 when an ad uses a synthetic performer, and California will from January 2027, including AI voices that narrate an ad. TikTok also asks advertisers to disclose AI content.

On a video with an AI voice or person, Genien's default label says: AI-generated. This performance features a synthetic performer. You decide what runs, so check with your lawyer.
