Acceptable Use Policy

• No fake testimonials or reviews. A synthetic person may present a product, but may not claim an experience that no real customer had.
• No synthetic person presented as a real customer, doctor, expert or celebrity.
• No claims you cannot back up. Health, weight loss, income and financial claims need evidence before they appear in an ad.
• No synthetic before-and-after or result shots presented as proof of what a product does. If an ad claims a result, film that shot for real.
• Disclose synthetic performers where the law or the ad platform requires it.
• Don't remove, crop out, blur or alter AI disclosure labels, watermarks or provenance data, such as C2PA Content Credentials, on output you publish where the law or the ad platform requires disclosure. If your ads run in the European Union, label deepfakes as the EU AI Act requires.

• Use a real person's face, voice or likeness only with their documented consent. Documented consent is a written or electronic agreement signed by the person that names AI-generated images, video or voice, describes how they'll be used, for example paid social ads for a named brand, and covers the period of use. If the person is a professional performer or model, their consent must also meet the laws that protect them, such as California Labor Code section 927 and New York's Fashion Workers Act. Keep it, and show it to us if we ask.
• No public figures, minors or deceased people, even with someone else's permission.
• No face swaps, voice clones, lip sync or other digital replicas of a real person without their documented consent, and no impersonation of anyone.

• No sexual content of any kind, and nothing that sexualizes or endangers minors. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, as federal law requires.
• No photos, video or voices of anyone under 18, and no ads aimed at people under 18.
• No political, election or social-issue advertising.
• No ads for prescription drugs, weapons, tobacco or vaping, illegal drugs, adult products or gambling, no guaranteed returns, and nothing illegal.
• No hate, harassment or violence, and nothing that breaks the policies of the AI providers and ad platforms you use.

No content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, such as another brand's footage, music, characters or logos you have no right to use. No ads that copy a competitor's look or suggest an endorsement, partnership or customer relationship that doesn't exist.

No hacking, probing or overloading our systems; no scraping; no automated or bulk account creation; no attempts to get around usage limits, moderation or a provider's safety filters, including prompts written to make a model break these rules.

If an intimate image or video of you, real or AI-made, was created or shared through Genien without your consent, send a request with your physical or electronic signature, enough information for us to find it, and a short statement that it wasn't consensual. We remove it, and any identical copies we know of, within 48 hours of a valid request, and we confirm each report.

We may refuse a request, remove content, suspend or close accounts, and report illegal content to the authorities. If you think we got a decision wrong, reply to our notice and a person will review it.
